ANITA HOWARD
Anita is an Australian artist who expresses herself and talks to the world through art. Throughout her life she has worked as an art teacher in schools, trying to make that place more welcoming than it was for her in her own childhood. Dyslexia has had a huge impact on her life, her relationships and the way she sees the world.

Nature, more specifically leaves, in various forms of representation, are a very important reference in the artist's poetics. In symbolic terms, the garden, whether indoors or outdoors, becomes a safe place, but one full of transformations for the mind. Art is the mechanism by which every creative act gains consistency, because it is a dialog between what the world can be, what it is and how art can permanently point out ways of transformation, whether through the use of materials or the construction of images, in a permanent, limitless, free research.
