Having dyslexia and dyscalculia has greatly influenced Mads' life, and it is through art that he expresses his feelings and seeks his own balance. He also aims to provide, through his works, tools so that other people with learning differences can communicate their feelings to the world.
He also works with companies and organizations that provide educational support and raise awareness (such as Dysleksi Norge, ADHD Norge, Lingit, among others), producing visual content, workshops, and interventions that help to make the challenges and richness of neurodiversity visible.

Dyslexia and Microsoft Word
The complex relationship between computer programs and people who experience dyslexia is discussed in this visual creation. It is a humorous representation of a situation in which letters, words, and phrases appear differently from what is considered "normal" by most people. The image of the warrior with spear and shield facing a screen constitutes an allegory of the difficulties faced by those who suffer prejudice, especially in the traditional educational system, in being respected simply because they see the literate world in a different way, which is not, in itself, something good or bad, better or worse. It is simply another way of looking at and perceiving what is established.

The image accurately portrays a dyslexic person trapped by the various gazes directed at them, primarily due to difficulties learning to read and write within traditional standards. The perception people have of them can create shackles from which it may be almost impossible to break free. In this way, the "knots" of psychological imprisonment can prevent the collective "we" from being realized. Delay or the absence of diagnosis can often have this devastating effect.

Wings are the main metaphor in the artist's work. In various myths and ancestral narratives, they are generally associated with freedom, lightness, spirituality, and the ability to transcend, whether in a physical or spiritual sense, depending on one's beliefs. In this sense, they can represent a concept of elevation from the everyday and the search for new horizons that lead to overcoming obstacles.
