MARCEL ANGELO

Marcel Ângelo is a writer and history teacher in Florianópolis whose literary and poetic production is marked by dyslexia and ADHD, conditions that influence his way of dealing with language.

In works such as Devaneio, he uses traditional forms of poetry—sonnet, folk poetry, metrics, and rhythms—also in prose, creating texts that seek fluidity from chaos. He transformed the nickname "Dyslexic," received in adolescence, into an artistic identity, affirming neurodivergence as a creative power and not as a limitation.

DAYDREAM

A mental state defined as a flow of thoughts and imagination that deviates from focused attention on present reality to experience a "daydreaming" experience, daydreaming consists of a dive into fantasies and thoughts often triggered by environmental stimuli or memories. Therefore, it emerges as a universe of words where fragmentation becomes essential in the ebb and flow of consciousness, offering the reader a worldview interwoven with connotations in which the pieces are articulated in a personal way to construct a powerful and meaningful whole, reflecting their perspective on what is commonly called reality.

Some people know me as dyslexic, and they don't even know my name yet.
