Wós is a multifaceted artist from Brasília, working with visual arts, fashion, tattooing, and other fields. At school, her difficulties with reading and writing, and the incomprehensible words she encountered, led her to fall in love with drawing and art classes, where she didn't have to be afraid of making mistakes.
Expressing her worldview keeps her constantly engaged in artistic activity.

WOMAN AT THE COFFEE SHOP
Due to difficulties with reading, the artist found expressive links to the world in visual arts, fashion, and tattooing. The intensity of Wós Rodrigues' work "Woman of the Coffee Shop" captivates at first glance. There is an image of a contemporary woman, manifested in the serene sensuality of her crossed legs, the presence of part of a cat—an animal identified with witchcraft in the Middle Ages—and the unadorned gesture of her hand. The way colors are used, both in the upper part of the canvas and in the placement of shades of red in the beret, shoes, and cup, decisively helps to create an atmosphere of seduction and joy, inviting the observer to attentively immerse themselves in the proposed composition. The painting thus presents a representation of a female figure of this century, with her confident and captivating personality.

CHILDREN ON THE SIDEWALK
Based on a photograph the artist took of children playing on the sidewalk while their parents worked at the Olhos d'Água Exchange Fair in Alexânia, GO, an image emerges in which the impact of the collective is essential.
It is the group of children that stands out as a visual expression of an economic and social situation. The image is placed within a certain perspective.
Contemporary creative art characterized by a constant concern to bring to a wider audience a pictorial interpretation grounded in what is considered the real world, valuing human beings in situations that are not always favorable.
In this respect, seeing children of the present on screen is a way of thinking about what their future might be like.

BAMUN MASK
The image is part of a study conducted on the culture of the Republic of Cameroon, and was even transformed into an official stamp by the Brazilian Post Office in honor of the 15 years of service of the Cameroonian ambassador to the country. The work takes the Bamun people as its starting point and revisits the symbolic importance of the mask in various cultures as a divine element, in which individuals hide from themselves to reveal their deepest truths and communicate with the most diverse manifestations of the psychological and the sacred.

SHE AND THE CITY
An image is a way of unveiling the paths of the soul. Feelings surface in the artistic creation process, so that perceptions of self-absence and emptiness in relation to the world gain materiality when they become a work of art. These links between each individual and the world around them are, as the figure alludes, full of presences and absences that define ways of being and existing in the world.

I started drawing very early on, as it was my way of escaping because I felt different from the other children in the classroom.
I had difficulty reading and understanding certain words, besides mixing up letters when writing. And when that wasn't the case, the words were indecipherable, haha. All of this made me fall in love with art classes, where I immersed myself in colors, shapes, etc., allowing me the freedom to experiment without fear of making mistakes.
Art and dyslexia have made me a fearless person, always ready for new experiences and a multifaceted artist. I am a stylist, tattoo artist, and visual artist, currently working in the field!
